Yeah, that super-popular note-taking app that was all the rage back in 2004 and for maybe 10 years after that.īut then, something happened.doesn’t make a list bullet + Mac & Android & PC.so it's impossible to find features w/o knowing about them already – HYPHEN makes a list bullet instead of a hyphen – PLUS also makes a list bullet instead of a hyphen – Keyboard bullet BUT Nested notebooks behave like tags – But "tagging" something in a nested notebook doesn't add the parent notebook – NO Drag-drop to add tags to multiple notes + Links between notes just by starting with [[ – No file:/// linking – No RTF export – Narrow text with huge gutters, no options – Focus Mode is even NARROWER with even WIDER gutters (dealbreaker for me) – Has no tool menus, only File, Edit, and Window –. + Akin to Evernote without the bloat, over-designed UI, and collaboration + RTF, colors and multi-color highlights! + Tables with background colors, and line returns within cells! + Manual ordering of notes column! + Nesting notebooks + Backlinks – No collaboration – No #tags, no #nested/tags, no #multi-word tags#, no #inline #tags, no easy tag editing.
